You’re likely to find at least two or three live music events going on in the Houston area every night. But there’s no need to stay in a hotel and drive in Houston traffic to hear great bands. One of the best venues in the area is right in The Woodlands, a few miles from Rayford Crossing. You can stay in the comfort of your RV and enjoy a night of live music outdoors, under the stars!
The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion brings all kinds of music to The Woodlands. Whether you like classic rock, hip hop, classical, or country, there’s something for everyone. The venue’s main draw for many is the lawn, where you can spread out. However, you can also purchase seats closer to the stage. Bringing a group of 10 or more to one of the free performing arts shows? You can contact the venue ahead of time to reserve seats together. The Pavilion has all kinds of concession options, but some shows also allow you to bring in your own food to enjoy. You’ll want to check the website for more information.
Looking for a fun way to celebrate Independence Day? On July 3rd, the Houston Symphony will be at the Pavilion for their annual “Star-Spangled Salute” event. The Symphony will present a selection of patriotic favorites at this free concert. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the show starts at 8:00 p.m. You’re welcome to bring picnic items, but make sure you review the bag size limitations on the event page.
